Premium
Panda Budget offers a free tier with up to 8 envelopes, 2 savings accounts, and 3 months of history. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited envelopes, analytics, family sharing, CSV export, rollover budgets, and more.
Premium is available as a monthly or annual subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
🔒 Privacy Policy

Panda Budget ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the budgeting service:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed by Firebase Authentication). If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.
- Financial Data: Envelope names, budget amounts, transaction descriptions, amounts, dates, income sources, savings accounts, and commitments that you enter into the app. We do not connect to your bank accounts.
- Household Data: Household name, member IDs, and invite codes for family budgeting features.
- Device Data: Device locale (to auto-detect currency), platform (iOS/Android), and app version for diagnostics.
- Subscription Data: Purchase status managed by RevenueCat to determine premium entitlements. We do not see or store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the budgeting service
- To sync your data across devices and with household members
- To manage your subscription status
- To provide customer support when requested
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Period.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) with server-side security rules that ensure users can only access their own household's data. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by Firebase. Local data is cached on your device using Hive for offline access and is protected by optional biometric/PIN lock.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, data storage, and cloud sync. Firebase Privacy
- RevenueCat — Subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat Privacy
- Google Sign-In / Sign In with Apple — Optional authentication providers.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (available in Settings > Delete Account), we permanently delete:
- Your Firebase Authentication account
- Your member document
- All your income sources, savings accounts, and commitments
- If you are the last household member: all envelopes, transactions, and the household itself
Deletion is performed immediately and is irreversible.
6. Children's Privacy
Panda Budget is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — all your data is visible within the app
- Export your data — available via CSV export (Premium feature)
- Delete your data — use the Delete Account option in Settings
- Correct your data — edit any transaction, envelope, or account detail within the app
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

By downloading, installing, or using Panda Budget ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Description of Service
Panda Budget is a personal and family envelope budgeting application. It allows you to create budgets, track spending, manage income sources, and share household finances with invited members. The app does not connect to bank accounts or make financial transactions on your behalf.
2. Account Registration
You must create an account to use Panda Budget. You can register with email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign In with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Transmit malicious code or interfere with the service
- Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits
4. Premium Subscriptions
Panda Budget offers optional Premium subscriptions (monthly and annual) that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play > Subscriptions on Android)
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law or platform policies
5. Household & Family Features
When you create or join a household, your financial data (envelopes, transactions, income sources) is shared with all household members. You are responsible for only inviting trusted individuals. We are not responsible for how other household members use shared data.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Panda Budget is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. The app is a budgeting tool only and does not constitute financial advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium subscriptions in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all your data as described in our Privacy Policy. If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel it — please cancel your subscription through your device's subscription settings first.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data. You'll be asked to confirm by typing "DELETE".
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Panda Budget > Cancel Subscription
On Android: Google Play Store > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Panda Budget > Cancel
Note: Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
How do I share my budget with family?
Go to the Family tab (Premium feature). Your household has a unique join code that you can share with family members. They enter this code when setting up their account to join your household.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Your data is stored in Google Firebase with strict security rules. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You can also enable biometric lock (Face ID / fingerprint) in Settings for additional protection.
Does Panda Budget connect to my bank?
No. Panda Budget is a manual envelope budgeting app. You enter transactions yourself, giving you full control and awareness of your spending.
Can I export my data?
Yes (Premium feature). Go to Settings > Export Data to export your transactions and budget data as a CSV file.
